What is a combi boiler
A combi (short for combination) boiler is the most compact option because it generates both your heating and hot water from a single unit, usually wall hung. With a combi boiler, theres no need for a separate hot water tank.
How do combination boilers work
Combi boilers are connected to the mains cold water supply and can heat water on demand. They burn fuel when you ask for hot water and have an integral heat exchanger that then gets hot enough to instantaneously heat the cold water from the mains supply as it flows over it.

Getting It Installed:
Place your order and accept the estimated price (based on a simple swap of an existing combi boiler in the same place).
British Gas will contact you for more information about your installation. At this point, there may be some additional costs based on your home and current boiler but your engineer will talk you through all the details.
Once youre happy, accept your quote and book your installation date.
British Gas will send an expert engineer to install your new boiler. Theyll also give you a final price in case any further work is needed. Then once its installed, theyll activate your 5-year warranty.
