ForgeFix Drywall Screws Coarse Thread 3.5 x 50mm Black Phosp Box 200

The ForgeFix Drywall Screws are available on Amazon for £2.00 and are crafted to meet the demands of professional drylining tasks. These screws are characterised by their aggressive coarse threading, which ensures a firm grip when securing plasterboard to timber studs. The deep, widely spaced threads provide excellent drawing power, ensuring a secure hold in wooden frameworks.
Designed with a tear-free bugle head, these screws feature a smoothly curved profile that allows them to sink flush into plasterboard without damaging the paper face layer. This design prevents core crushing, offering a smooth surface ready for plastering. The screws are treated with a black phosphate coating, providing robust protection against atmospheric moisture and resisting corrosion from wet plaster and joint compounds.
Equipped with a non-slip Phillips insert, the screws feature a precision-machined No.2 Phillips drive recess. This ensures a snug fit with your driver bit, allowing for high-speed mechanical insertion without the risk of cam-out slips. The screws are ideal for attaching plasterboard, wallboards, and insulating panels to internal structural timber studwork and partitions, making them a definitive choice for professional drylining installations.
Manufactured from carbon steel, these screws are durable and reliable. They measure 3.5 x 50 mm, with a diameter of 3.5 millimetres, and come in a box of 200 pieces. The screws have a partially threaded design and a bugle head style, ensuring they meet the specific needs of drywall installations. The exterior finish is phosphate, enhancing their durability and resistance to environmental factors.
The ForgeFix Drywall Screws are a practical choice for any drylining project, offering a combination of strength, precision, and corrosion resistance. With their bulk packaging of 200 screws, they provide a convenient solution for both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts alike.
