If you cant afford the QD-OLED AW3425DW, this is a great alternative if youre after high contrast blacks.
Pros:
3000:1 contrast (much better than IPS)
It shares the great stand/build quality
Significantly brighter than OLEDs
No OLED burn-in / Purple hue in bright lighting / text fringing
Cons:
Black smearing (main downside compared to OLED/IPS)
Poor viewing angle
VA glow if youre not perfectly centred (IPS bleed is still worse IMO)
Poor HDR compared to OLEDs (Especially TVs)
Conclusion
VA for work/shows/movies
OLED for gaming at night / light controlled room
Also the VA has a stronger curve, more immersive but not good for any work requiring straight lines.
