Heres a guide using Three as the port mule.
If youre an existing customer you can take advantage of this deal by porting out and back in to Lebara.
Heres a guide I did for using Three as the port mule. See the bottom of the post for more details on using 1p as a port mule.
Log into your existing Lebara account and order your Lebara SIM through the link. You can have up to 5, on the same account.
Request a free PAYG SIM from Three three.co.uk/paysim no need to top up or buy a package and theres no need to set up an account. Three now do an ID check to check your payment card against your address, but there is no payment taken.
Request a PAC from Lebara for the number you want to keep by texting PAC to 65075.
When the Three SIM arrives pop it in a mobile to activate, youll get a text with the temporary number.
Complete the switch form here three.co.uk/supgin Try to avoid switching over the weekend as this can have issues. I usually arrange to port on a Monday date. Note that you can schedule a port up to 30 days in advance.
On switch day, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REQUEST A PAC AS THIS CAN CAUSE ISSUES WITH THE PORT. Just make sure the port goes through, that is test calls and texts go through to the number OK. Note it can take until late the same evening.
The day after the successful port, request a PAC by texting PAC and your date of birth to 65075, in the following format PAC DDMMYYYY. You should receive an email or a text immediately. An alternative method is to text PAC no space and your date of birth in this format DDMMYY to 65075, e.g. PACDDMMYY. This is free, no need to top up.
Activate the Lebara SIM by putting it in a phone and then link the number to your Lebara account by logging into your account and clicking Attach new SIM. They will send you a text to link the temporary Lebara number.
Now start the port back to Lebara. Do it before midday to switch the following day. You can port using a form here go through the chatbot here lebara.co.uk/en/tml and request to move old number, which allows you to choose next day.
Only downside is you cant make calls or texts on the temporary Three number, only receive them, but its only for one day and I have a spare Lebara SIM which I use for emergencies.
So port on Monday and you can be back to Lebara on Wednesday.

Currently you can order a SIM from 1p mobile, cost is £1 (so not free like Three), but you get £10 worth of credit, so you can either use it to port dance back to Lebara or stay with 1p for up to 120 days or until the £10 is used up. More information
