40%Noise cancellation depth
14.16%Total ANC
Data is from Xiaomi Internal Labs in comparison with Redmi Buds 5 Pro. Effects may vary depending on actual usage.
Noise cancellation depth and frequency are achieved by active noise reduction technology, supporting 55dB maximum noise cancellation depth and 4kHz noise cancellation frequency. Noise cancellation depth is up to 40% higher than the previous generation Redmi Buds 5 Pro. The percentage increase of the noise reduction depth of 55dB compared to the 52dB of the previous generation is a single frequency point depth improvement. Test data comes from the National Institute of Metrology, China. The actual effect may vary depending on the users ear size, selected earplugs, ear canal structure, wearing position, whether chewing or exercising and other conditions.
Total ANC refers to the measurable reduction of noise within the effective frequency range during typical usage scenarios. Redmi Buds 6 Pro achieves a noise cancellation level of 490.9, a 14.16% improvement compared with Redmi Buds 5 Pro, as certified by the National Institute of Metrology, China.
