How to get the Hisense RQ5P640SYSD for £799 after cashback
AO currently lists this at £1,499, but I managed to get it down to an effective £799.
1. AO Membership £39.99/year
I added AO Membership. This gives you: Free unlimited delivery, including next-day where available Free unpacking Free removal and recycling of your old appliance Member-only prices and offers throughout the year 100-day returns Other member offers/competitions
For me the membership was worthwhile just for the delivery and removal/recycling of my old American fridge freezer.
2. Get AO to price match Sonic Direct
Sonic Direct currently has a £400 voucher discount on the RQ5P640SYSD, bringing their price down from £1,499 to £1,099.
I contacted AO and they agreed to match the £1,099 price. As Id already paid, AO confirmed the £400 difference will be refunded back to my card.
3. Claim £300 cashback from Hisense
The RQ5P640SYSD also qualifies for £300 Hisense cashback.
The cashback claim window is 27 November 24 December 2026, so keep your invoice and the serial number from the fridge.
