The Glendronach Ode to the Dark is the richest expression in the Masters Anthology, as an exploration of the bredth and depth of sherry cask maturation. Fully matured in the distillerys signature Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this 50.8% ABV Highland single malt releases a powerful depth of after-dark flavours. Colour: Black garnet. Nose: Cherry and chocolate, with mocha and caramel to the fore. Palate: Smooth caramel with blackberry brambles and freshly ground coffee. Finish: Fruit-and-nut chocolate, sweet and dark. Unpeated.
