Bulit in the mid-19th century, the hotel is a Grade II-listed coastal landmark recognised for its distinctive central tower and domed top.
Access to the England Coast Path is opposite from the hotel. Follow this clifftop trail to the opposite side of the bay for the Pegwell Bay Country Park.
When in Ramsgate on a sunny day, its easy to feel a touch of la dolce vita (The Metro). The marinawith its waterfront bars, restaurants, and cafesand Ramsgate Beach are about five minutes drive away.
Drive along the coastline to Broadstairs (10 minutes from the hotel) and the Dickens House Museum. Continue on to the white cliffs and chalk stacks of Botany Bay (25 minutes away).
