Bosch Performance Update 2.0 is available for compatible Gen 5 Performance Line CX and CX-R motors through the Bosch eBike Flow app. The update unlocks up to 120Nm of torque, 750 watts of peak power and up to 600% support, helping riders tackle steep climbs and technical terrain with greater ease. Maximum assisted speed remains unchanged at 25km/h.
Riders can customise assistance levels through the app to suit their riding style, while the update also adds Extended Boost functionality, support for Boschs latest drivetrain tensioner system and expanded connectivity features. As with any increase in motor output, higher power settings may lead to increased drivetrain wear over time.
