SONOFF SWV-ZFE Hydro ONE Zigbee Smart water timer, normally about £31.60 or £33.64 on the Sonoff site. This is the newer model with the brass tap connector. It also allows a Bluetooth connection for local operation and programming if you dont have a Zigbee connection. For Zigbee, you will need a EweLink compatible hub and the app. Unfortunately I dont think it has full functionality (or maybe it wont even work) with Tuya/SmartLife, which I prefer. Other option is you integrate it with Home Assistant. If you do that, you can then include soil moisture monitors for a really advanced watering system.
This model (unlike the lite version) allows you to set programs for either timed or volumetric based delivery. Check with your local water authority but I believe that, even if you are in an area with a hosepipe ban, you could still use this controller with a drip irrigation system.
