The sock essentially just gives you Oxygen and heartbeat statistics, but it also monitors sleep, motion and some other things.
If it isnt placed correctly, it will beep at you a lot and it can be annoying, but stick with it, if you need to monitor your child closely, or just want piece of mind, it is well worth it.
