THE DETECTIVE
DI Greg Geldard is an outsider in more ways than one. When his latest case takes him to Norfolk, hes finally found a place he can call home. Although impatient with paperwork and dismissive of inter-agency politics, hes a natural leader, hardworking, insightful and above all, willing to listen. His only weak spot is his adored wife, Isabelle, who seems to value her touring career more than her husband.
THE SETTING
Norfolk, as Geldard often observes, seems to have more water than land. Bordered by vast, empty beaches, it is home to the unique environment of the Broads a network of navigable rivers and man-made lakes which date from medieval times.
