This deal is only good because
1) You can cancel the airtime plan AS SOON AS YOU HAVE PAID OFF THE DEVICE PLAN
2) There is a £600 Trade-in bonus for eligible devices – You will get this as credit to pay off the device plan.
So, you choose a device plan –
make sure the upfront cost you choose is not too much because you need to use the trade in credit to pay off some of it.
Eg. £1896 (Total device cost) minus £600 minus whatever your trade-in phone value is (£272 for S24 Ultra) £1024 – So you shouldnt make the upfront cost any more than this.
Then add an airtime plan (youre going to cancel this anyways so choose any)
There will be an option for trade-in.
The trade-in process requires you to use the vodafone app Trade in Tool on the phone you will be trading in. This tool determines the value of your device. It has to be from the list of eligible devices.
If your device passes the trade in tool test, it will give you a code to use where it says I already have a code
This will show in your basket as credit – it only lands in your account once you send the device and it gets checked.
Once youve received the device and trade-in credit, you can pay off the device plan (You cannot use a credit card for this).
This will then allow you to cancel your airtime plan. You may be charged for one months usage.
